"Time and Temperature Building Transformation: Reviving Portland's Historic Landmark into a Luxury Hotel and Event Destination"

The Time and Temperature Building in Portland,Maine, is embarking on a transformative historic rehabilitation project. This14-story highrise, originally known as the Chapman Building and later named asthe Time and Temperature Building, was reimagined as 138 apartments and a 120-roomluxury hotel. This development featured an event space in the meticulouslyrestored original two-story Chapman Bank space.

The Time and Temperature Building is renownedfor being home to the first indoor mall in the region. The two-story arcade,once a bustling hub of commerce, will be meticulously restored to its originalglory. This historic feature will be incorporated into the building'samenities, creating a vibrant and inviting space for habitants, guests andvisitors to enjoy. The project includes a spacious event space, a shared meetingroom, shared work/study spaces and a rooftop bar offering stunning panoramicviews of the city, Casco Bay, and Mount Washington. The project will uphold alllocal historic preservation guidelines to ensure the building's historicalsignificance remains intact, while introducing modern amenities to create a newlandmark in Portland's hospitality and event landscape. It aims to blend thepast and the present, offering a unique and unforgettable experience for both itshabitants and visitors, setting a new standard for luxury accommodations andevent spaces in the heart of the city.
